Shadow Shot Sunday #7

How could anyone in Brisbane get an outdoor shadow shot this week ? It was hard enough getting the washing dry. Or keeping the washing in your own yard... Well I managed to get some shots of the poinsettia bush in my neighbours yard. I love the bright flowers against her white house. Very pretty when the sun manages to creep out for a moment. Happy SSS everyone. Go visit Hey Harriet's site for more exciting SSS love. xo Teneale ps. The first photo is courtesy of google. Not taken by me, just showing you it was pretty rainy this week.

The first photo is quite beautiful...the lone girl, the splashing water...very nicely captured.
My SSS vote is for the first picture. There's got to be some shadows in it ;)

Have a great week!

Hi Teneale! that first shot is lovely - she's a brave girl though in all this rain!
And well done for finding some shadows this week (the sun peeked out a little bit!0

Is that what that bush is called? I have it growing in my front yard and didn't know the name of it. Now I do thanks to you! Lucky it's not growing in my backyard coz it's a swamp now. I'm over this rain!

Lovely shot. Both of them :)

Sometimes it isn't about the contrast, it's just the shadows. I love the first shot, absolutely love it as much as the second. Happy SSS!
