George brooches

I've started making some brooches using old children's books and heart shaped pieces of wood. I bought the unwanted books from Vinnies, and gave them a new life in cute little brooches. One of my favourites from childhood was George's Marvellous Medicine by Roald Dahl, which I have used for these. I have listed them on Etsy, and they are all one of a kind. Shadow Shot Sunday #1

Yeah, I know it's Tuesday, but this is my first post for Shadow Shot Sunday so I wasn't really prepared for it. I'm including my sister's ultra cute photo below (she's currently pregnant and due in August). They are saying hello to the camera. Here's my contribution for the week. Not that great, I know, but hopefully more will come next Sunday. This was taken on Easter Sunday at my parents local park. We had lots of fun kicking soccer balls, throwing frisbee and catching tennis balls. This photo was taken when one actually got stuck in the tree we're all looking up at.
