Shadow Shot Sunday #10

This Sunday I'm going to continue the theme of graffiti. I took this shot on a train track of some graffiti hiding in the shadows of some trees. If you would like to join in the SSS fun, head over to Hey Harriet's blog to find out more. Happy SSS everyone. xo Teneale

I love how this particular piece of art (because it truely is!) pops - it's very 3-D looking!

Hey that's a cool find! Train tracks are certainly the best places for seeing great graffiti. I catch buses more than trains now so I miss seeing all the interesting street art while commuting on public transport... :(

Great graffiti shot! I like how the white outline glows in the shadows.

Oh and you have won an award over at my blog for being so lovely :)

Graffiti in our area indicates the gangs are proliferating...and exploiting the young...so I don't really like it, even though I admire the artistry. If they'd tag in a gallery . . . but then it wouldn't be tagging and it would lose its edginess. Sigh. A conundrum.

Graffiti has really become stylized and not just the spray paint defacing of property... although it could do with some color.

nice shot Teneale - it looks a bit sinister there, hiding in the shadows!
