Shadow Shot Sunday #9

It's getting very, very cold in Brisvegas. Even my budgie Fish is rugging up this winter. He still talks like mad to his mirror, probably criticising the poor food and service but it does sound nice to us. I just realised I need to prepare some cupcakes shortly for a destashing day with BrisStyle tomorrow, so thought I'd get my shadow shot in early. These were taken in East Brisbane. I drive past these trees each sunday on the way to soccer. They're starting to lose their flowers and leaves as it's getting colder. I forgot to post some beachy photos yesterday too from Bundy. The beach was so nice, Aidan and I had it all for us alone to explore. Don't forget to pop over to the BrisStyle blog to enter the giveaway this month. This month's members are Strat Designs and Raspberry Pink. There's plenty more giveaways being held on the blog too !! Happy weekend everyone. xo Teneale

"budgie Fish" :)

I might be wrong, but does'nt this plant have nice fragrant white/yellow flowers?

very neat shadow though! Have a great time at the Brisstyle.

I know just how your budgie feels Teneale - I've been chattering away in the cold myself. What happened to our beautiful, mild winters? Have fun with the girls today. Sadly, I won't be there - back to Sydney for a week.

Those branches remind me of the gnarled hand you might see in a picture of a wicked witch. Love your shots.

It's so surreal to me that we are moving into summer and you are moving into winter, seems like just yesterday you all were at the beach in shorts and swim suits.

stay warm!

You have a budgie naemd Fish? That's cute. Maybe he flaps around in circles in his cage like a goofy goldfish. Great shadows and beach shots. Yeah I don't like this cold either. Grrr!

It was lovely to see you and your fab cupcakes today! They sure were a big hit! Have a happy week. Stay warm :)

Ali and Tracy it was great seeing you both today. Too bad not many people made it, I found it really fun. I finally got to have a cupcake this afternoon, not too bad. Staying well away from my friends margaritas from now on. I don't think my belly can handle that again :p

And yes my budgie's name is Fish. He flew into our yard chased by other birds not long after our goldfish died, and we weren't very imaginative with names at the time.

I love that first shot with the blue sky and the sun shining through and then it's shadow reflection. Beach looks lovely too. Hope you all stay warm this winter. We are having a chilly Spring here in the Northeast US, but at least it's now warm enough for me to open the windows. Finally!
